Publication Schedule

Jurnal Sistem Informasi dan Teknik Informatika (JAFOTIK) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal managed by Lentera Ilmu Publisher. The journal publishes scholarly articles in the fields of information systems, informatics engineering, and computer science.

Publication Frequency

JAFOTIK publishes twice a year (biannually), with two issues published annually:

  • Issue 1: February

  • Issue 2: August

Editorial and Publication Process

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to determine their suitability for the journal's scope and compliance with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening proceed to a triple-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of the authors and reviewers remain concealed from each other.

The editorial and publication process consists of the following stages:

  1. Manuscript Submission: Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system throughout the year.

  2. Initial Editorial Screening: The editorial team evaluates the manuscript's relevance, originality, completeness, and compliance with journal requirements.

  3. Triple-Blind Peer Review: Qualified reviewers assess the manuscript's scientific quality, originality, methodology, and contribution to the field.

  4. Revision: Authors revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers' and editors' comments, where applicable.

  5. Editorial Decision: The editor makes the final decision based on the review reports and the journal's publication standards.

  6. Copyediting and Proofreading: Accepted manuscripts undergo editorial preparation and final checks before publication.

  7. Publication: Accepted manuscripts that have completed the editorial process are scheduled for publication in the February or August issue, subject to editorial decisions and production readiness.
